HOW IT STARTED
What seems commonplace today was groundbreaking back in 1968 when Kenneth H. Cooper, MD, MPH, transformed the field of medicine with his emphasis on disease prevention; and ignited the modern fitness revolution with his international best-selling book Aerobics.Today Dr. Cooper and his son, Tyler Cooper, MD, MPH, have expanded their healthy-living mission at the Cooper Aerobics headquarters in Dallas to provide a variety of facilities, products and services for individuals and corporations.

Cooper Clinic
Since opening our doors in 1970, Cooper Clinic’s philosophy has been simple: It’s easier to maintain good health than to regain it once it’s lost. Through our renowned preventive exam, Cooper Clinic provides patients with an individualized, in-depth picture of their health, action plan to improve and test results—all in one day. Our board-certified physicians offer a broad range of medical services in six standard components of the exam including medical exam and counseling, lab analysis, cardiovascular screening, dual source CT scan, skin cancer screening and nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian nutritionist.On average, Cooper Clinic patients who regularly undergo preventive exams live 10 years longer than the average life expectancy. Additional specialty services include breast health, cosmetic dermatology, concierge medicine, gastroenterology, imaging procedures, optometry and sleep medicine.

Committed to providing our members and guests the best in fitness, we have expanded our state-of-the-art fitness center adding 6,000 square feet of dedicated space for cardio and strength training. Designed with our beautiful 30-acre grounds in mind, the expansive windows allow for a scenic workout among the trees and a healthier perspective. In addition to this new indoor space, we have also added four outdoor pickleball courts next to our tennis courts.
